Regardless, if I could swing a GT500 that would be the ultimate answer. The Shelby GT500 is made in Michigan and has not seen the inside of Shelby's facility. The thing about that is that is exactly what he did in the 60's with the original Shelby. I agree that it really is only a GT purchased from Ford and then upgraded at the Las Vegas Shelby facility. I have a 92 Feature 5.0 5spd and use to have a 95 Cobra Vert Hardtop so I am into more rarer mustangs. What are your thoughts on each? Which would be the better buy? And I know this is subjective, but which one could have more value/interest down the road? Have seen one or 2 around the area and I believe this is one of the last real Saleens before he left the company. Also to me it is more of what a Shelby was when built in the 60's.
